Welcome to the CORE Group Community Health Network listserv. This listserv is an important component of the Community Health Network’s efforts to bring health and development professionals together to focus on practical community-level implementation issues, with a focus on women and children. Participants share ideas, identify gaps and promising practices, and collaborate to create the next generation of practical tools, guidance and insight.
This moderated listserv reaches thousands of subscribers of the international health and development community. It is field- and implementation-focused and serves to relay quality, actionable communications related to:

• Funding opportunities
• Meetings, trainings and other relevant events
• Changes in relevant policies and guidelines
• New tools, reports, and training materials relevant to the community
• Results of operations research and other studies
• News articles relevant to community health

Participants of this listserv are encouraged to foster community collaboration by:
• posting content as described above
• soliciting methods, tools and processes to support community-oriented
design and implementation
• offering user feedback on existing tools and processes
• requesting direct technical advice.

How to participate:
• Post by simply sending an e-mail to cgcommunity@lists.coregroup.org
• Subject lines should be concise and informative
• No political statements, marketing or fundraising efforts
• Jobs and consultant requests should NOT be sent to this listserv, but may be directly posted on CORE Group’s website here.
• While we welcome attachments of community health-oriented documents, please limit size to 200 KB. When possible, use links instead.

How to receive a “daily digest” of the listserv messages, instead of each when it is posted:
1. If you have not already, create a password by following this link: http://lists.coregroup.org/lists/renewpasswd/ Type in your email address. Your password will be sent to your email.
2. Go to the listserv webpage: http://lists.coregroup.org/lists/
3. Sign in with your email and password
4. Click on cgcommunity under “Your Groups”
5. Click on “Subscriber Options”
6. Under receiving mode there should be an option to receive “digest MIME format”. Choose that selection and you should start receiving daily digests instead of individual emails.
